On-Street Parking 10-Hour Meter Permits

This permit provides downtown access to reduced rate parking at all Downtown Perimeter Parking Meters. Each permit allows up to 10 hours of parking at the 10-Hour metered areas for a vehicle displaying a valid pass. Vehicles must relocate to another 10-Hour metered spaces for additional time each day.  

The permits are available five (5) business days prior to the first of the month and/or quarter. These permits do sell out and are sold solely on a first-come-first-served basis.

Price: $60/month or $180/quarter 

How do I get a 10-Hour Meter Permit? 

Permits may be purchased at the City of SLO Mobility Services Office at 1260 CHORRO ST, SUITE B, SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA 93401. Hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday by appointment only. 

Commercial Loading Zone Permits are issued through our Mobility Services Office at 1260 Chorro Street, Suite B in Downtown San Luis Obispo.

To expedite this process please complete the online application and include all of the required documents. 

You will need the following:

* A copy of your current Business License.

* A LAMINATED sign that can be displayed in your vehicle; if your vehicle does not have a magnetic or permeant decal.

*Please be advised that the permit and the sign must both be displayed in order to be in compliance.*

Our loading zone times are 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
